Terms & Conditions

By downloading or using the Habitomo app (hereinafter “the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before using the App.

The App is developed and operated by Shibapp LLC (Shibapp合同会社, hereinafter “we,” “us,” or “our”).

Intellectual Property

You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the App. You may not translate the App into other languages or create derivative versions. The App and all related trademarks, copyrights, database rights, and other intellectual property rights belong to Shibapp LLC.

Changes to the App and Services

We are committed to making the App as useful and efficient as possible. We reserve the right to make changes to the App or to charge for its services at any time and for any reason. We will always make it clear to you what you are being charged for before any payment is required.

In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

The App offers optional in-app purchases, including subscriptions (hereinafter “Premium features”). By purchasing Premium features, you agree to the following:

  • Prices are displayed on the App Store or Google Play prior to purchase.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled before the renewal date.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription through your device’s App Store or Google Play settings.
  • Refunds are handled in accordance with the policies of Apple or Google. Please contact the respective platform for refund requests.

Your Responsibilities

The App stores and processes data that you have provided to us in order to deliver our Service. It is your responsibility to keep your device and access to the App secure. We recommend that you do not jailbreak or root your device, as doing so may compromise your device’s security and cause the App to malfunction.

Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services that are subject to their own Terms and Conditions:

Internet Connection

Certain features of the App require an active internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data). We are not responsible for the App not functioning fully if you do not have internet access.

If you use the App outside of a Wi-Fi area, your mobile network provider’s terms and data charges will apply, including roaming charges if applicable. If you are not the bill payer for your device, we assume you have obtained permission from the bill payer.

Disclaimer of Liability

While we strive to keep the App updated and accurate, we rely on third-party services and cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Specifically:

  • We are not liable for any data loss or corruption that may occur due to device failure, software errors, network issues, or any other cause.
  • We are not liable for any direct or indirect loss arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any information provided through the App.

App Updates and Termination

The App is currently available on iOS and Android. System requirements may change, and you will need to download updates to continue using the App. We do not guarantee that the App will always be updated to remain compatible with your device’s OS version.

We may stop providing the App at any time without prior notice. Upon termination, the rights and licenses granted to you under these Terms will end, and you must stop using the App and delete it from your device if required.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Sapporo District Court as the court of first instance.

Changes to These Terms & Conditions

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
